We only use state-of-the-art technology, such as the special limited-edition Schwind 1050RSL Excimer Laser, the first robotic laser of its kind in Australia. However, our commitment to the highest quality technology goes beyond the use of the most advanced eye laser equipment to how we care for, maintain and calibrate our lasers.

Medownick Laser Eye Clinic aims to provide an extraordinary level of care at each step of your laser eye surgery treatment. Everyone in our friendly team is focused on your well-being, and on delivering a truly exceptional results, from the moment you step into reception at the Epworth to every interaction with our Patient Care Team, orthoptists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, nurses and surgeons.

24/7 emergency line

We are passionate about giving you the best possible outcome and we strive to provide the best possible aftercare. It’s why we have set up a 24-hour emergency line, so you can talk to us in person 24 hours a day, seven days a week, after your laser eye surgery, ensuring you receive personal and medical support at any time you need it. If something is bothering you, feel free to come in or call at any time – we offer this support free of charge.

Post-operative care

Our fee covers six-month post-operative laser eye surgery aftercare and includes any enhancement procedure that you might require in the first five years following your initial laser eye surgery.

A lifetime of aftercare

Medownick Laser Eye Clinic provides a lifetime of aftercare. If you begin to worry about your vision, perhaps due to getting older, we want you to get in touch – whether it’s a month after your surgery, a year, or 20 years. In most cases, there will be no out-of-pocket expenses for a yearly eye exam.
