Tim Bresnan hopes that having 20/20 vision will help him book a place on England’s Ashes tour this winter. The all-rounder has his eyes on the prize of a tour Down Under, revealing that he plans to have laser eye treatment at the end of the season to improve his vision.

“I’m supposed to wear contact lenses when I’m playing but I don’t,” said Bresnan. “I’ve got quite bad astigmatism, so I don’t really get on with contacts.
